Hair Update + Product Rave: Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment

Here’s an update on my hair, while I’m in between sew-ins… I decided to take my extensions out for a few days before I redo it for the holidays. I definitely have some growth since my last sew-in. I really like having my extensions because it give my hair a break from the wear and tear of everyday styling.

Taken in January 2010

A product that I have found to be amazing is the Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment. After using it one time, my hair was so soft. I just wanted to keep touching it! It added hydration and my hair looks much healthier. I usually stick to the basics, but this is a must have, especially if you have breakage and dryness.

You place the treatment on your hair while it is dry and comb through before washing your hair. The longer you leave it on, the more it helps. I left it in about 30 minutes. While it does have a distinct smell, like coffee/nutty, it doesn’t stay on the hair after you wash it.

What Ojon says:

Ojon® Restorative Hair Treatment hydrates dry, damaged hair and strengthens and restores a healthy look and feel to hair. Just one 20-minute Ojon® Restorative Hair Treatment application will increase the strength of hair.

Clinical tests show:
• a 52% improvement in the condition of very dry, hair after just one use*
• a 64% improvement when left on hair overnight*
* in a clinical dry combing study, condition was improved after using Ojon® Restorative Hair Treatment and Ojon® Ultra Hydrating Shampoo following usage instructions.

Ritual:

* As a deep conditioning treatment
* For added conditioning and shine

PRODUCT CONTAINS NUTS

NOTE: Ojon® Restorative Hair Treatment is not recommended 5 days prior to or following a color or chemical service.
Porous and/or white hair can be susceptible to temporary discoloration. When in doubt, a strand test is recommended prior to use.

You can find it at Sephora or Ulta.

The 1.5 oz jar retails for $21, and the 4.6 oz (with comb) is $55, Sephora has a few sets with the 1.5 oz jar and 3 various travel size products for $39 as well, so you can get a bit of a deal if you want to try more of the products.
