As much as I change my nail color, I should have these posted much more! I’m going to try to make sure I share more nail colors with you guys. So let’s start with the nail color for today, China Glaze’s “Life Preserver” from the Anchors Away Collection.
On a scale of 1 to 5, I’d say the opaqueness is a 4. I used 2 full coats for this application.
I like this color a lot because it’s still bright enough for Spring/Summer but could transition well to Fall.
When you think of a foundation brush, a flat kabuki brush may not be your first thought, however I’m sold on the Sigma F80 brush! It gives great even coverage, with an airbrushed effect. It doesn’t soak up product like a sponge can or leave streaks.
So far I have not had any shedding and the handle has held up through multiple washes. In this video I show you how I use it to apply my foundation (MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC44).
I am head over heels in love with the Mint Julep pigment from Magnolia Makeup and had to do a tutorial using it… Unfortunately I had a bit of a fail because I realized half way through that I wasn’t recording! Ha!
But you’ll get the idea 🙂
