Finally! I put together my best of 2014 list, but this year I decided to feature just new products that I’ve added to my collection. These are new products that were either released this past year or that I wanted to try.

I was really excited about Carol’s Daughter’s holiday sale! There are a number of bundled sets for savings plus an additional 40% off made it even better. I have tried a few products here and there, but I’d been especially interested in the Monoi collection that is for repairing and strengthening. My biggest hair issue is breakage and split ends so I hope this line helps with that.
When you think of a foundation brush, a flat kabuki brush may not be your first thought, however I’m sold on the Sigma F80 brush! It gives great even coverage, with an airbrushed effect. It doesn’t soak up product like a sponge can or leave streaks.
So far I have not had any shedding and the handle has held up through multiple washes. In this video I show you how I use it to apply my foundation (MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC44).
