Haul :: M.A.C Styleseeker + Swatches

Fall is here and the new collection from M.A.C is perfect for the change in season. Styleseeker plays up the trends of rich reds and tangerines and it brings back one of my favorite formulas of lipstick, Mattene. The collection is a good size and has something for everyone. The blushes are some of the most interesting colors of the collection as well as the lip glasses.

This is also a good time to pick up more Fluidlines that are limited edition, since new colors can come few and far between, but it is one of the better gel liners on the market. They are very smooth, so they don’t tug at your eye and they are smudge proof.

I also picked up the new Haute & Naughty Mascara in Too Black Lash, which is a dark carbon black. It is also a dual-wiper wand system that allows you to get defined lashes or voluminous.

Lastly, M.A.C also has a new 15 shadow pro palette, and while the insert holds 15, it is optional making it a rival to other magnetized palettes like the Z-palette. With out the insert, you are looking at about 24 shadows. It also has a clear top which is nice.

Haul :: MAC Heaven Creatures Pictures and Swatches!

If you love MAC’s mineralized products, then this collection is for you. I like the mineralized blushes the most, but there were a few unique eyeshadows that I thought were worth having as well. The mineralized skin finishes were also winners for this collection, so I had to get two of those.

Since I was low on time, I didn’t record a video but I did have time to swatch them last week, so here are the pictures and swatches for you!

Products purchased:

  •  Center of the Universe MSF (golden/coral color, great as a blush alone or the gold can be a highlight)
  • Light Year MSF (light pink, best as a highlighter for me)
  • Magnetic Attraction E/S (red/coral/golden color, I mainly like the reddish tone)
  • Sky E/S (you can never have to many blue eyeshadows, right? Plus, the mixed color is nice teal/blue combo)
  • Water E/S (this was was the most interesting with a greenish blue with yellow combination)
  • Supernova Mineralized Blush (Great pink, with hint of gold)
  • Cut a Caper Lipstick (It’s a nice light coral, more on the orange side than pink but very wearable)
  • Firesign Lipstick (Light sheer red color, again very wearable red)
  • Meteoric Cremesheen Lipglass (my favorite of the colors, nice pinky coral with a golden tone)
  • Celestial Kiss Cremesheen Lipglass (a nice neutral color, an everyday pick)

Swatches :: MAC Beth Ditto X Casual Color

The newest collection from MAC, Beth Ditto and Casual Color, offers more fun colors and a new product.

For Beth Ditto, I opted for most of the lip colors because they are all limited edition Pro Longwear Lipcremes and I love the formula. I also picked up the Liquidlast Liner, which is permanent, but I needed a new black liquid liner.

I have all of the repromoted lip liners, which are In Synch, Embrace Me, and Entertain Me. All I love and recommend owning.

Lastly, I picked up 2 of the new Casual Color pots, which is a cool new product that serves as both a lip and cheek color. Not a new concept though, very similar to Stila’s Convertible Colors. While the price point may seem a bit steep at $20 but you get a great amount of product, plus the dual use makes it so great to keep on hand. I may pick up a few other colors.

Full video coming soon, but for now enjoy the pictures!
